MPFC UpdatesWelcome to Spring 2025. With the new season, the Musicians' Pension Fund of Canada has significant personnel news to share with you in this issue. Introducing Grace Huang The MPF Canada Board welcomes our newest Trustee, Grace Huang. Grace brings a unique blend of pension industry expertise and classical music acclaim, which will surely be an enormous asset to the Fund and our members. Grace is a consulting actuary with over 17 years' experience, currently at Aon. She assists clients with pension plan design and administration, working with a variety of plans, including jointly trusteed plans. Grace is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and the UK Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and holds a bachelor's degree in music from the Royal Academy of Music (University of London). As a classical pianist, Grace has performed globally and appeared at numerous UK venues including London's South Bank and St. John's Smith Square. Her performances have been broadcast on Australian Broadcast Radio and BBC Radio 3. Now based in Vancouver, she performs regularly with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and has been featured in the VSO Chamber Player Series. Please join us in welcoming Grace. Welcome, Paul Versteeg-LytwynIn January 2025, Paul Versteeg-Lytwyn was appointed Interim Executive Director of the Musicians' Pension Fund of Canada.

Announcement of the Passing of Jill GiustinoIt is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Jill Giustino, Executive Director of the Musicians' Pension Fund of Canada in December 2024. Jill joined the Fund as a summer student at age 15 and became Executive Director in 2019. Her remarkable contributions over her 37-year career have left an indelible mark on the Fund. Please read our full tribute to Jill. | |
